>@ David Wiggin - Managing Director
David founded Ptarmigan Media in 1992 after working as media director at First Financial and Grandfield Rork Collins. He has worked in the financial advertising industry for 15 years gaining vast amounts of experience in advising a wide range of clients from investment bankers, PR firms to asset managers on their media requirements, both in the UK and internationally.

>@ Matt Ball - Media Director
Matt is a member of the client accounts team, jointly heading up the retail and institutional finance team with Matt Woodford. He has worked at Ptarmigan Media for the past five years, first booking online media and then moving into mainstream retail accounts. Matt has a wide variety of clients and has also developed and continues to manage the Ptarmitracker response management system. His eight years of experience in the industry comes from working on the financial sales teams at FT magazines and at The Guardian and The Observer newspapers before joining Ptarmigan Media in 1999.

 

>@ Matt Woodford - Media Director
Matt joined Ptarmigan Media in November 2000, and now heads up the retail and institutional finance team alongside Matt Ball. Matt looks after a broad range of clients from asset managers, life and pensions companies to international stockbrokers. He developed Ptarmigan Media's Total IFA Marketing (TIM) programme and also drives the agency's research and events activity. Previously Matt was the financial group head of The Guardian and The Observer newspapers and prior to that he was ad manager of the Investors Chronicle.

 

>@ Nigel Wells - Account Director
Nigel has worked in the financial advertising industry for fifteen years, the last seven years with RCL Media as client services director. Over that time he has managed the accounts of a number of high profile asset managers, retail banks and private banks, both domestically and internationally. He has specialised in the offshore finance arena and has constantly looked to drive the accountability of media in an often unresearched marketplace. Prior to agency life, Nigel worked for the BBC and the Financial Times Group.

 

>@ Keeley Townshend - Media Assistant
Keeley joined Ptarmigan Media in December 2003, having previously worked at the Financial Times newspaper in the financial advertising department. Keeley supports the retail and institutional accounts team and manages the reports off Ptarmitracker, as well as covering for reception.

 

>@ Sarah Stewart - Account Manager
Sarah joined the retail and institutional financial media planning and buying team in March 2005, with the aim of enhancing the service provided to some of Ptarmigan’s largest clients. Sarah knows the advertising requirements of the financial services industry intimately, having previously worked in the Financial Advertising teams of both the Daily Mail and the Times. She has specific expertise in negotiation and press advertising.

 

>@ Kate Benson - Account Manager
Kate joined the company in March 2005 to work in the retail and institutional financial media planning and buying team. Kate was previously Head of Client Services at Perception Media Limited and has a wealth of agency experience, both in enhancing client marketing and negotiating with media. She has specific expertise in retail activity and currently works on a number of asset management and spreadbetting accounts.

 

Listings and Agency Services

 

 

>@ Anne Streeter - Media Director
Anne is a founding member of Ptarmigan Media she now heads up the Agency Services and Listings services teams. Anne's knowledge of corporate campaigns, and specifically rights issues and M&A advertising is invaluable in providing assistance and media expertise required by PR firms. Her international experience led her naturally to head the new business area of international listings for institutions and asset managers. Prior to joining Ptarmigan Media, Anne was the media director at the full-service agencies Streets and City Marketing.

 

>@ Brad Fincken - Account Director
Brad joined the company in February 2005 with the objective of managing and developing the listings side of the business alongside Anne Streeter, servicing those clients wishing to promote their NAVs and fund performance figures in the international media. Brad has a background of expertise in fund statistics, having previously worked for Standard & Poor's Investment Services and before then Thomson Financial and Micropal.

 

>@ Emma Beaumont - Account Director
Emma's role is to manage Ptarmigan Media's agency services, providing media support to our partner PR, creative and print agencies alongside Anne Streeter. Specifically handling financial campaigns, Emma plans and buys statutory notices, results and corporate activity that has to comply with the London Stock Exchange rules. Emma joined the company in March 2005, having previously worked at the Financial Times both in their Conferences division and Financial Advertising Department.

 

Online & E-commerce

 

 

>@ Tim Jones - Head of Online
Tim joined the company in October 2000 and has since built and developed the only financial service specialist online media planning and buying team in the UK. Tim and his team look after the needs of Ptarmigan Media's mainstream multi-media clients who require an online element to their campaigns as well as clients who only want to use Ptarmigan's online service. Tim has previous media sales expertise in both press and online.

 

>@ Michael Morton - Online Account Director
Michael works in the online team, planning, buying and monitoring online advertising campaigns alongside Marcus and Odette. Michael was previously at Hemscott for eight years, where he worked in many roles from data analyst to project manager for their website.

 

>@ Odette Nicoll - Online Account Manager
Odette joined Ptarmigan Media in Autumn 2004, with over twenty years of experience in media and publishing. Previously an online media consultant, Odette works alongside Michael and Marcus in planning, buying and monitoring online advertising campaigns.

 

Accounts & Administration

 

 

>@ Leon Samuels - Financial Controller
Leon is a founder member of Ptarmigan Media, joining the company in 1993. Leon manages the Accounts team and is in charge of all Ptarmigan Media's financial affairs including client billings, salaries, financials accounts, insurance and currency transactions.

 

>@ Ann Lougheed - Account Supervisor
Ann is a key member of Ptarmigan Media's back office team. Previously a credit controller at Financial Times Business, Ann has been helping Leon manage the purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger and credit control since October 1999. Ann is also instrumental in handling orders: checking they are inputted and processed correctly.

 

>@ Patricia Stirrup - PA/Receptionist
Since May 2001 Patricia has been PA to David Wiggin as well as performing the crucial role of running Ptarmigan Media's reception desk, handling calls, guests, communications system and post. Patricia was previously in a similar role at Vertex, a software company.
